An introduction to this site

Badminton Mania hopes to be Indian badminton's little corner in cyberspace. All articles are not related to badminton; you will find stories on other sports, fitness, some personal stuff, etc. The idea is to cater to the badminton fan as a reader and not solely as a player. You might note that some of the stories date back quite a few years -- these are timeless stories of athletes who have overcome great adversity; or contain some element that epitomises sport. I have included them because the stories are wonderful by themselves, and are not outdated because they are a few years old. I had them in my files and thought it would be a waste if I didn't put them on this site. But subsequent updates will have mostly recent stories. You will also see a slight change in the site design.

We hope these stories will inspire you, perhaps so much that your story itself will be celebrated. In any case, we hope this site will be an enjoyable read, and that you might find something of use. Do keep a look out for the book reviews and interviews.
Anybody wanting to contribute articles/ diaries/ photographs/ anecdotes, etc is welcome to do so. Contributors will not be paid, because this site is not generating any revenue. Opinions are always welcome.
