Features
Features are slightly different from news articles in that they are more concerned with weaving a story than conveying the news (what, where, how, etc.) In other words, the story-telling becomes more important than the fact that a certain thing happened.
Usually, news stories convey the gist of the message in the first and second paragraphs, and the details come later. With feature stories there are no such rules -- in fact, the feature often resembles a short story. Features are usually much lengthier than news stories.
